  • Welcome to the Chem 131-MWF Homepage. Chemistry 131-MWF is one of two introductory chemistry offerings given at UR, the other being Chemistry 131-TR. Both courses have the title Chemical Concepts, Systems and Practices and both provide a sound foundation for students in chemistry and molecular science. The courses serve equally well for students majoring in physical or biological sciences and/or engineering. Other than the class meeting time, the main differences between these two courses is the use of WORKSHOPS in Chemistry 131-MWF. You can read a brief description of this learning method at WorkShops. Cheminstry 131- MWF and Chemistry 131-TR use the same text and cover the same material but each professor will present this material in their own way.

    We Have Moved to Blackboard!!
