Meagan Evans Recipient of Division of Inorganic Chemistry Student Travel Award
Meagan Evans, a 4th year graduate student in the Jones group, was recently awarded a Division of Inorganic Chemistry Student Travel Award. With this award, Meagan will be attending the National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in San Francisco from March 21-25, 2010. There she will be giving a presentation titled, "Energetics of C-H Bond Activation Using [Tp'Rh(CNneopentyl)]: Quantifying Resonance Stabilization". Meagan received this award due to her research accomplishments and publications in the area of C-H bond activation.
