Graduate Student Daniel Everson receives NSF GRFP Honorable Mention


Daniel Everson, a first year-graduate student in the Weix group, has received an Honorable Mention from the prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program. The National Science Foundation (NSF) offers fellowships to students in the early stages their research based Master's or PhD degrees through a competitive application process.

Dan received an honorable mention in the NSF GRFP competition for 2009. The NSF recognized Dan for his work in teaching and outreach, his strong research background, and for his research proposal on "The Direct Reductive Coupling of Two Organohalides."
