Karen Chiang Receives Travel Awards


Graduate student Karen Chiang was awarded a Graduate Women in Science Travel Award (GWIS) and an Eli Lilly/Women Chemists Committee Travel Grant to attend the National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in Washington, DC. Karen received these awards based on her leadership potential and her research on binding to three-coordinate iron complexes, which was recently published in the journal Inorganic Chemistry. Karen is currently a third-year graduate student in the lab of Prof. Patrick Holland.
