Professor Kende’s research interests include the total synthesis of alkaloids, terpenes, and antibiotics; rearrangement
reactions; synthesis of antineoplastic natural products; chemistry of small rings; chemical and biochemical studies of
polyhalogenated xenobiotics and of bacterial autoinducers.
