The SYCAM (Synthesis, Catalysis, and Mechanism) retreat is coming up on Monday, October 5th at the Brighton Town Park (777 Westfall Rd.) The retreat, organized by Pat Holland, will encompass the Boeckman, Dinnocenzo, Eisenberg, Fasan, Frontier, Holland, Jones, Nilsson, and Weix research groups. We will have talks by Ryan Cowley, Tulaza Vaidya, Meagan Evans, and Dan Everson. There will be poster presentations and a career panel with the following panelists: Tina Collison, Barbara Fisher Swertka, Ramon Vargas, and Brian Cleary.

A great group of students have volunteered to help with the logistics, food, and some games to play at the park afterwards. Our own Bill Brennessel will be grilling at the park at the end of the scheduled day. Please RSVP to your Advisor or to Terri Clark via email.
