Chemistry at the University of Rochester combines a tradition of more than 150 years of excellence in research with a dedicated approach to undergraduate and graduate education. At Rochester, we combine the power of a research university with a closely knit and collegial department.
We strive to stay connected with our alumni, who play an important role in our community. From our earliest history to the present day, the input of alumni, parents and friends has been vitally important, supporting what is already excellent about the Department of Chemistry and contributing to new initiatives that expand our educational and research mission.
